How to connect the fiber optic cable:


1. When the optical fibers are connected, they should be connected according to the same color and the same core in the bundle tube, and connected in order, from large to small. There are generally three connection methods, namely welding, active connection and mechanical connection.


2. Strip the optical fiber cable when connecting, and fix the optical cable after stripping, being careful not to damage the bundle tube. Peel about 1m, there may be grease in it, wipe it with paper.


3. The stripped optical fiber is inserted into the splice box for fixing and pressing.


4. Next, pass the optical fiber through the heat shrinkable tube. Different bundles and different colors should be passed through the heat shrinkable tube.


5. If there is a fusion splicer, the fusion splicer can be used for fusion splicing. Turn on the power supply for fusion splicing, be sure to pay attention to dust during use, remove it in time, and do not lie down and drop the fiber powder into the fusion splicer.


6. Before splicing, it is necessary to distinguish the difference between the optical fiber and the working wavelength, so that the splicing program can be selected for splicing. Generally, automatic welding can be selected. The next step is to make the fiber end face. Fiber end face production is a crucial link, which will directly affect the quality of the connection, so extra care and prudence are required.


7. After the fiber end face is made, the fiber can be placed. There is a V-shaped groove in the fusion splicer, and the optical fiber is placed in there. When placing it, be careful not to press the optical fiber pressure plate.


8. Next, remove the fiber optic cable and use a heating furnace to heat the heat shrinkable tube. After heating, the draft shield can be opened and the fiber can be removed. After being removed, the fiber coil should be fixed. The spliced optical fibers should be placed on the optical fiber receiving tray. The larger the radius and radian, the better, which can reduce energy consumption.


9. The last step is to seal and hang it, and pay attention to waterproofing.


After the optical fiber line is broken, don't worry, if you have the conditions and technical foundation, you can splicing by yourself. If you don't understand it very well, it is still recommended that you ask someone to do the welding, which is safer.
