This hybrid cable assembly is used to connect both fiber and power to a radio element. This cable is specifically design to work with many popular radio models that are powered by 48vdc and have fiber interfaces.
This type of hybrid cable cuts down on installation time and reduces opportunity for installer error.
This hybrid cable is part of the Specialized hybrid power and fiber system that includes a hybrid trunk cable, a distribution enclosure and these hybrid jumper cables.
Both ends of the electrical conductors are terminated with a flat ferrule that makes it very easy to connect the DC terminal while installing in the field.
For the fiber connectors, one side of the cable has a ruggedized uniboot duplex LC connector that is specifically designed to be installed within a cable gland protector on the radio element. The other side of the cable has a more flexible but armored tail that has a standard duplex LC connector that can be separate should the installer need to roll polarities.
