Because all network bridge equipment uses POE power supply, it is extremely important to correctly connect the POE power box, wireless network bridge, IP camera and other devices; the network bridge equipment is designed for outdoor rain and dust prevention. Dust treatment.

Seven attention of wireless network bridge installation


1. Do a good job of preventing rain and dust and insulation. The network cable connection part of the network bridge, POE, and network camera needs to be treated with rainproof and dustproof. The connector part of the network cable and the network bridge generally needs to wrap two to three layers of waterproof tape to try not to expose the crystal head; It also needs to be wrapped in two to three layers of waterproof tape or insulating tape; all the power connector part should be treated as possible.

2. Installation and fixing of net bridge equipment. When installing the bridge, you must first fix the bracket. If the bracket is unstable, it will directly affect the stability of the microwave signal transmission. When fixed the network bridge to the bracket, fix the net bridge firmly in the fixed method in the figure below. During the installation, because the surface of the bracket is relatively smooth, if you use a nut to tighten the U -shaped clamping code, it may take a long time, and the soaking the bracket of the outdoor rainwater will be used. The surface will be rigid, and the contact between the U -shaped clamping and the bracket will be explicit.


When installation, we need to put a tight contact between a layer of rubber ring and the U -shaped clamping on the bracket.


3. Cable selection and length control. Control the length of the network cable to ensure the best transmission effect. The effective transmission distance of the twisted twisted line (network cable) with better material is 100m, CAT5E or CAT6 cables. Because the network bridge uses POE power supply, the network cable not only carries the data flow, but also supply the network bridge, so the network cable is too long or the material is not suitable for use. The connection part of the bridge and POE should be used to use the CAT5E or CAT6 line as much as possible, and the length should be controlled within 25m as much as possible.

The distance from CAT5E or CAT6 lines to transmit 100m line refers to 100M from the LAN port from the POE power supply box to the camera or switch; In the CCTV electric box, at this time from the POE power box to the monitoring center or the computer room, use fiber transmission as much as possible.


Some network cables connect to some network cables and POE should not be too long. It is recommended to use CAT5E or CAT6 cables. Try not to exceed 25M as much as possible to avoid insufficient power supply; POE and network cameras, switches, NVR and other devices should not exceed 100M as much as possible to avoid causing network signals to avoid network signals. attenuation.


When the data transmission port of the POE is far from the monitoring center or the equipment room equipment (more than 100m), it is recommended to transmit optical fiber.


There are two main types of POEs recommended at present, one is a module POE input with external DC power input, and the other is the internal integrated transformer using a voltage voltage POE with AC 220V voltage input.

Regardless of which POE is used, the interface definition is uniform. The network port marked on the POE can connect to the network camera, switch, computer and other network devices on the POE. The network bridge equipment should pay attention to the connection to avoid burning the device.


4. The correct connection of network devices such as network bridges, POE power boxes, network cameras or switches. There are generally three interfaces on the POE power supply box: the power interface (generally DC DC input), the POE network port (only used to connect to the RJ45 port of the network bridge device), the network port or LAN port (can connect any Ethernet port port based on the Ethernet port) Network devices, such as: network cameras, switches, routers, computers, NVR, etc.).


5, network cable production standards and its type selection. The current standard of network cable production is generally made in accordance with the definition of the national standard. It is recommended to use the mainstream T568B line order standard to make network cables. The standards are as follows:


T568B: white orange, orange, white green, blue, white and blue, green, white brown, brown


The network bridge equipment uses POE power supply. It is recommended to use the national standard T568B line order production network cable. Since all network devices are adaptive Ethernet ports, when connecting the network bridge device to the POE or switch to connect to POE, it is strongly recommended to use the national standard T568B class Class T568B The direct lines (that is, the two ends of the network cable are the line order of the national standard T568B).


6. Lightning protection. Net bridge equipment is generally installed outdoors and is open to light protection. The laboratory lighting protection circuit is set up in the equipment itself. The lightning protection connection terminal (GND) will be reserved outside the device. The correct lightning protection grounding method is: the standing rod of the fixed net bridge is generally installed with lightning rods. The grounding terminal of the net bridge needs to be connected to the earth with a lightning protection line.


7. Feed line connection processing. For outdoor high -power network bridge equipment, the external antenna is required to be installed far from the transmission distance, and the feeder connection is needed between the antenna and the device. At this time, the connection parts of all feeders and the antenna must be treated with rainproof and dustproofing. It is necessary to wrap the two to three layers of waterproof tape or insulating tape. Try not to let the feed line joint part exposed to the air.
