Most of the wires and cables on the market are made of PVC. Today, Yinglian will introduce the key points of PVC cable material formulation planning and production process.

Main points of formula planning of PVC cable material

     (1) Regarding the general sheathed PVC cable material. The dosage of plasticizer is 0~60PHR, stabilizer 6~8PHR, lubricant 1.5~2PHR, filler 10~20PHR: plasticizer with poor plasticizing power should be used more; when the amount of filler is large. The amount of plasticizers and lubricants can be larger; when using inactive fillers. The amount of plasticizer and lubricant should be larger; generally, the cold-resistant plasticizer of about 5PHR should be added to the sheathed cable material;

     (2) For general insulating cable materials, the amount of plasticizer is 40 to 50 PHR. Stabilizer 6 ~ 8PHR. Lubricant l ~ 1.5PHR. The filler is about l0PHR; the usage of plasticizer and lubricant refers to the sheathed cable material;

     (3) Plasticizers such as DBP with high volatility cannot be used in cable materials;

     (4) In addition to the use of high temperature resistant plasticizers for high temperature resistant cable materials. The amount of stabilizer should also be added. Add 0.3~0.5PHR antioxidant;

     (5) Cable materials with high insulation performance requirements. Fillers such as calcined clay should be selected (polymer plasticizers have poor plasticizing power. The amount of plasticizers should be added as appropriate when formulating formulas;

     (7) When formulating the transparent cable material formula. The eel-increasing agent with good compatibility with resin should be selected. Directly select transparent stabilizers such as organotin, and strictly control the amount of lubricant added;

     (8) When planning the formula of flame retardant cable material. It is advisable to use a composite flame retardant system;

     (9) When formulating the formula of high polymerization degree cable material. Compound processing modifier should be selected to improve its processing performance;

     (10) When formulating the formulation of non-migrating cable materials, polyester or high molecular polymer plasticizers should be selected;

     (11) When selecting compound stabilizer, its dosage is slightly more than stabilizers such as three salts;

     (12) Under the conditions of ensuring the normal processing and use of cable materials. To minimize the amount of stabilizer. Avoid the "filler effect" that occurs when the amount is too much.
