At this stage, we only use one-level splitting (one optical splitter) or two-level splitting (two optical splitters) on one line, and do not use 100% or more-level splitting solutions.

The difference between primary and secondary spectroscopy

The first-level optical splitting PON interface has a relatively high utilization rate, is easier to test and maintain, and has less optical power attenuation.

Two-level optical splitting can save the fiber optic cable in the wiring section, and the flexibility of the network is better than that of centralized optical splitting, but it is not conducive to user management and line fault location, and the future maintenance cost is high.
