Three simple steps to choose a high-quality cable

Time:2022-04-11 Views:

Wire and cable are a large category of electrical products used to transmit electricity, transmit information and realize electromagnetic energy conversion. Wires and cables play an important role in all economic activities and social life. It can be said that where there are people living, where there is production, transportation and all economic activities, wires and cables are inseparable. High-quality wires and cables can better ensure the safety of electricity for you and your family.

Three simple steps to buy high-quality cables:

·Step1 Identify the appearance of the product

Check whether there is a "CCC" certification mark on the certificate; whether there is a quality system certification; see whether the certificate is standardized; see whether there is a factory name, factory address, inspection stamp, production date; see whether there are trademarks, specifications, voltage, etc.

Step 2 Check the conductor copper

The conductor copper core of high-quality cables should be purple, shiny and soft to the touch. The copper core of the fake and inferior copper core wire is purple-black, yellowish or white, with many impurities, poor mechanical strength and poor toughness. When checking, you only need to peel off one end of the wire by 2 cm, and then rub a piece of white paper on the copper core. If there is black material on the white paper, it means that there are more impurities in the copper core.

·Step3 Measure the length and weigh the weight

The length of the national standard cable must meet the standard requirements of 100 ± 0.5m, and its weight will be controlled within the specified range. The plastic insulated single-strand copper core wire of 2.5 mm2 has a weight of 3 to 3.1 kg per 100 m, etc., and the inferior cables generally have the phenomenon of short jins and short meters, which infringes the interests of consumers.
