General wiring principles to be followed:

1. The integrated wiring system must be designed in advance, and cooperate well with installation projects such as civil engineering, fire protection, air conditioning, lighting, etc., so as to avoid unnecessary construction conflicts.


2. Deploy as many points as possible, use a double-hole panel (one for voice, one for data), which is well coordinated with electricity, and distribute power points near the information points. Since the integrated wiring is generally a one-time project, it is relatively difficult to change the wiring after the wiring is completed, and the number of communication equipment is increasing with the development, so it is safer to arrange more.


3. When conditions permit, the weak current should go through its own weak current well to reduce the chance of being affected by electromagnetic interference. The floor wiring room and the main engine room should be arranged as large as possible for development and maintenance needs. For the network, the laying of the physical layer is crucial because it is the foundation.


4. With the rapid development of network equipment, it should be as open as possible when choosing a solution. Use Category 5 or more horizontally to ensure that data and voice can be interchanged, and use optical fiber to increase logarithmic cable vertically. For some points, there are more For buildings, fiber optic cables should be used for data backup instead of cables.


Fifth, do not idealize the general wiring, and do not integrate some more dedicated networks into the general wiring. Integrated wiring is enough to integrate the telephone network, computer network, and building automation network.


6. When laying the DG pipe, the larger diameter should be used, and a margin should be reserved. When laying the optical cable, pay special attention to the turning radius. If the turning radius is too small, the link will be seriously lost. Carefully check each optical cable, especially the panel box of the optical contact. Some panel boxes are not deep enough. It is good when the box is installed, but the test is not good after it is installed. The reason is that the corner radius of the optical cable is too small after being installed, causing serious loss.


Seventh, as the price of optical products continues to decrease, the wiring of large bays should consider more light spots, which is beneficial to network construction.


8. With the price reduction of optical fusion splicing equipment, where conditions permit, we can consider abandoning the traditional ST and SC head production methods, and adopting the method of splicing pigtails and optical fibers can better ensure the quality of the optical path.
