1. If there is excess cable between two terminals, it should be cut off according to the required length, rather than rolled up and bundled.

2. The distance between the anti twisted line segments at the cable joints shall not exceed 2cm, and excessive length will cause large near end crosstalk.

3. At the connector, the outer protective layer of the cable shall be pressed inside the connector and not outside the connector. Although the whole cable will be stressed when the cable is subjected to external tension, if the outer protective layer is pressed outside the connector, the stress will be mainly on the metal part connected by the cable and connector.

4. During cable connection construction, the cable tension is limited to a certain extent, generally about 9kg. Excessive tension will damage the symmetry of the cable pair.

Since the outer diameter of Category 6 cable is thicker than that of Category 5 cable, in order to avoid cable entanglement (especially at the elbow), attention must be paid to the filling degree of pipe diameter during pipeline design. Generally, two Category 6 cables are preferred for the pipe with an inner diameter of 20mm.
